| | I think I need more cardio. It is sad to say but I have definatly had to work up to my miles and I am barely going three miles. Last week I did 2 miles everyday then did weights....anyone have good insight on weights? I tried to rotate muscle groups everyday and did lower weight and high reps but this morning I think my arms looked bulkier so I only did running. My stomach fat will NOT go away so I am trying to add more distance to my running......off to pack for Disneyworld see you in a few days :) |

So I have finally started running again. I been exercising just not running so I haven't posted about it. But at least I did almost a mile and a half right? I really have no excuse why I haven't been running just a crazy sinus infection that has lasted way too long but oh well. I have been doing the cross county skiing machine. and 100 lunges a day plus arm weights and leg weights too. |

Great run today, except for the lizard ran right under my foot, poor guy.....squish!
And yes, Lily it is way hot to run outside....but I think I am getting used to it now. I notice I can't run as fast when it is way hot but it still beats the TM. And the gym is so desserted, I am all by myself in the mornings....wish someone would come visit me.... |

ran outside....How can I get faster? I think my fastest is 8:11 and I am DYING!! I can only go one mile that fast then I need to drop down to 9:00-9:30 I can do that in a breeze forever but if I try to go faster I feel like I can't breathe like my throat is closing in on my or something. oh I tripped over myself to avoid another lizard this morning, what is the deal? I am not sure how far I ran today because my garmin died after a mile, but I am sure it was at least two miles if not almost three but I don't want to count too many miles. I 'm not going to lie, the cooler weather this morning was crazy on my throat and lungs also the low humidy. Its crazy how you can adjust to being so hot most of the time.

I only had time for one and a half today, but it felt so good! For the first time (well other than the time I ran with Merri and I was dying) I was able to run fast and not feel like I was going to puke :) I was proud because I am really comfortable at a 10:00 min pace but today I ran an 8:20 mile which was way good for me! And I felt great!
Ha, ha, burt..you have NO idea! BTW are you from SF? or just stalk the girls from SF? I know you don't live there now but just wondering. |

oh yeah! It must be that the heat has calmed down a bit but I feel like I can run faster and not pass out :) I know my distance is SHORT but my speed has improved a lot :) Plus I got a new running partner....Dan decided I am cooler than his guy friends and wants to workout with me..

So my husband informed me that I am running wrong. I basically land flat on my foot, and my heel touches everytime my foot hits the ground. So he told me I am supposed to practice running on my toes so more of the ball of my foot touches the ground and not my heel. HOW in the world do I make THAT feel natural??
