I always said that I wasn't a runner, however this year I have come to LOVE to run!  Now it's an addiction!

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I have finally decided to run a half marathon, however, it falls on the same Sunday as our primary program. Do you think I could make it to church on time??

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be healthy and active.

Personal:

Married for 7 years to an amazing husband who suppports me in all my crazy activities even while going to grad school and is crazy busy himself! Two beautiful kiddo's 5 and 3!

Ran with Dan today.  We got to the track and only lapped four times when he asked how many we do. When I answered 16 he thought I was kidding! Ha, ha I didn't wake up for nothing!  Well at least now I know that I have been working up to something, dan used to ran crosscountry in high school I thought he would run circles around me, but I had to keep him going!!

today we skipped the running and hit the bikes.  We had such a good time, imagine us on our one speed beach cruisers pulling the kiddos in the bike trailer.  aah, what a blast!  we went 12.45 miles and our top speed was 22! we each pulled the trailer about half way, thats at least 60 more pounds.  I don't know how to do the running conversion though.

Ran with Dan again this morning.  I think my legs were still fatigued from yesterday, I don't know. It felt like the blood was going to pop from my face. I quit early with only 2.88 miles.

I ran at the track with the kiddos today, that was fun. Don't tell anyone but I let them take their bikes and ride around too. Don't worry it was only us there since we went later in the day.  My boy rode at least 3 miles and my little girl .50 miles on her little trike. Too cute!

So while I NEVER thought it would be possible for me to run with Merri, I thought I would give it a try. Although she could have run circles around me it was still fun to run with her.  I really had to push myself and I was breathing so hard, she was talking the whole time like it was no big deal.  One day that will be me LOL. Anyway since it was my best time yet I have to post my times on here.

Ran two miles but got scared running by myself so I went home and went on a bike ride with husband and kiddos. A couple miles into the bike ride I crashed into my husband!! LOL I am a dork, broke a couple spokes on my bike.  If you see me coming watch out!!
